The Streetwise Opera Nottingham team runs a weekly session at Emmanuel House every Tuesday afternoon and raise the roof!  It is certainly a highlight in the week and beneficiaries, volunteers and staff all enjoy the benefits of singing and hearing the ‘powerful, authentic, raw passion and epic emotions from everyday life’.  The workshops are run by professional musicians, Neil Allen and Tim Lole, with support from Gary, a long standing staff member at Emmanuel House Support Centre , who together form a dynamic and creative group. Working on performance techniques, expressing emotions and working towards performances all make for uplifting sessions that build confidence and help tackle isolation.
