Food and drink items needed for the Nottingham Night Shelter

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the Nottingham Night Shelter moved into a hotel on 27th March 2020. We’ve been providing much-needed support during a period of crisis and have enabled rough sleepers to self-isolate in individual rooms throughout the pandemic.

As well as private rooms with en-suite facilities, hot showers, housing advice and health support, we are also providing our guests with food, hot drinks and snacks with the help of other voluntary sector organisations.

We are now in need of specific food and drink donations so that we can continue to provide this essential human need.

Currently, our storage capacity at the hotel is limited, so we can only take specific types of food and drink. With this in mind, we are currently asking for the following items:

✔ Fruit pots
✔ Breakfast items: muffins, porridge pots & yoghurts
✔ Snacks: scones & flapjacks
✔ Condiments: mini pots of jam and preserves
✔ Condiment sachets: ketchup & mayo
✔ Long-life milk
✔ Fruit tea
✔ Small fruit juice cartons
✔ Wooden cutlery

If you have any of these specific items to donate, please contact Rosie at rosie.needhamsmith@emmanuelhouse.org.uk to arrange a delivery.

Alternatively, you can order directly through our Amazon Wishlist and the items will get delivered straight to the shelter.

Thank you for your continued support in helping us to work with some of Nottingham’s most vulnerable people.

Please get in touch if you have any questions.
