Homeless and environmental group benefit gig

Tales from the Fireside, in Association with A Sockful of Billiard Balls have organised a benefit event to raise funds for Emmanuel House and the pro-active environmental group, Extinction Rebellion, recently seen demonstrating outside BBC Radio Nottingham.

The event will be an exciting, high-energy mixture of music, poetry, laughter and performance, with representatives from the beneficiaries on hand to say what their organisations do and how they contribute to our communities.

Dr Lesley Prince says, We’re intending the evening to be uplifting, joyous and boisterous; it’s also important to hear about the positive work the two beneficiaries are involved in, he ends.
