Emmanuel House Charity Shop re-opened its door on Tuesday 1st September

Nottingham charity shop reopens its doors in Hockley | Emmanuel House

We are excited to welcome shoppers back through our doors at the bottom of Goose Gate in Hockley. Before the pandemic our Nottingham charity shop was a vibrant and engaging project that helped us to raise money for homeless, vulnerable and isolated adults in Nottingham.

Opening hours:

  • Tuesday 10am-4pm
  • Wednesday 10am-4pm
  • Thursday 10am-4pm

We’ve been working hard to ensure that the shop is COVID-19 secure. Volunteer and customer safety is of paramount importance to us and the following measures will be in place:

  • There will be a maximum of 2 customers in store at a time.
  • One-way system with clear floor markings.
  • Hand sanitiser will be available.
  • Mandatory face masks.
  • A card payment facility at the till point.
  • At this time shoppers are unable to try anything on in the shop but we are now able to process refunds should you need to return anything.

“We are delighted to be opening the shop again. I would like to thank our volunteers both old and new, who have helped get the shop ready and who are willing to give up their time during difficult circumstances to re-open the shop and generate vital income to support our work with homeless people. We have all the COVID-19 secure measures in place, our stock has been refreshed and the shop is looking great. Now it is time to come and grab a bargain.”
