We are delighted to announce that the final papers have been signed, the keys have been exchanged and the building is ours! Thank you to our supporters, who helped us reach this huge milestone in our journey as a Nottingham-based charity.
Since our community helped us raise the final £75,000 to buy the building in March, we have been working hard behind the scenes to complete the purchase.
We want to say a huge thank you to every person who helped us reach this momentous occasion. Whether you donated to or shared the building appeal, volunteered with us over the last few months, or simply spoke to others about our story. Your belief in the importance of Emmanuel House is truly humbling, and you have helped us plan for the future of a service that thousands of people in Nottingham rely on every year.

Stay tuned…
2026 is a big year for Emmanuel House – not only have we purchased our Support Centre building, but the year also marks our 50th anniversary supporting homeless and vulnerable people in Nottingham. In truth, this is a bittersweet milestone for us, as we are proud to celebrate 50 years of support for the local community, whilst recognising that there shouldn’t be a growing need for our services 50 years on. We have hope for a future where people’s basic needs – housing, clothing, food and water – are always readily available, and believe it is everyone’s shared responsibility to build that future.
We could not have reached this point without you. Continue this journey with us by signing up to our newsletter for monthly updates, to see what your support has achieved.
Thank you for standing with Emmanuel House. Thank you for sharing our story. And thank you for helping us build a stronger future together.
