Our Winter Shelter provides emergency short-term accommodation for people who are homeless

We’ve added 10 extra beds to our Winter Shelter provision, due to the increasing number of referrals and demand for the service. This means we’re currently providing short-term emergency accommodation for 40 people every night. Since we opened in October 2023, we’ve provided 2880 nights’ accommodation for 123 people.

Thank you to all staff and volunteers who are working tirelessly to prevent vulnerable people from becoming homeless. The Winter Shelter provides 24-hour support and three meals a day, as well as help to find more sustainable accommodation, specialist mental health support and support access to physical health appointments.
