Our Finance Manager Esther joined Emmanuel House in 2022. Since then, she has been overseeing the financial processes, outgoings and incomings of the organisation, ensuring that we are compliant with government standards and the charity commission. Esther works hard to document donations, manage invoices and oversee the financial status of a variety of different projects.
Having worked as a management accountant in the corporate world for most of her career, Esther was keen to join Emmanuel House because of our underlying vision to take care of the most vulnerable people in our society. She found that our vision matched her own personal values and thought joining Emmanuel House would be a very purposeful venture. And we’re so glad she did.
“I get huge job satisfaction in this role. Every single person’s role matters, no matter how big or small. You’ll never feel like a cog in a machine as you’ll always know you are needed. The work we do will always translate to the quality of the frontline service, and there is huge satisfaction in knowing that our work matters.”
“Joining Emmanuel House will mean joining an incredibly friendly team, in which you’ll have autonomy within your role.”
