Take on Nottingham’s legendary Robin Hood Half Marathon 2023 through some of our most picturesque places and help support homeless and vulnerable adults
Emmanuel House is delighted to be a Bronze Charity Partner for the Robin Hood Marathon 2023. By running for Emmanuel House, you’ll be one of the 10,000 people taking part in this iconic event. Every step you take will help support people out of homelessness.
The Robin Hood Half Marathon is one of the longest established and most popular city centre road events in the UK. The course itself is great for both seasoned runners and beginners alike. It is a single lap, 13.1 mile (21.1km) traffic-free course. The race starts in Victoria Embankment and follows an undulating route taking you along the River Trent, past Nottingham Castle, near the Robin Hood Statue, through the Nottingham Park Estate, through Wollaton Park and finishes back at Victoria Embankment Recreation Ground next to the River Trent.

What is the cost?
Robin Hood Half Marathon Charity Place: £10 entry fee (plus £1.55 admin fee) when you pledge to fundraise at least £250.
Own Place Runners: Pay for your own place and raise what you can in sponsorship.
What’s included as an Emmanuel House runner?
- An Emmanuel House running top
- Support during and after the event, including help with your fundraising
- Opportunity to join Team Emmanuel House Zoom calls before the race to share details of the day and to meet fellow runners
- A finisher’s medal, water, chip timing and results
- A big congratulations from Emmanuel House staff who will have a space in a charity tent in the event village on race day
What’s the process?
- Register for your place and pay for your £10 entry fee on our Eventbrite page.
- Once you have registered, we will be in touch with your unique code to sign up with your full details via www.robinhoodhalfmarathon.co.uk.
- You can then set up a JustGiving fundraising page so that your supporters’ donations go directly to Emmanuel House. Sign up for a JustGiving account and search for our charity (‘campaigns’ will come up first, but scroll to the bottom and you’ll see a list of charities). You can also tell JustGiving that you’re specifically running the Robin Hood Half Marathon by clicking the ‘taking part in an event’ section and searching for the specific event.
