Nottingham Forest supporters’ club presents cheque to Nottingham homelessness charity

We were thrilled to meet one of the founding members Victor Mahal, and other members of Punjabi Forest, who presented Emmanuel House with an incredible cheque for £1500.

The group, which also consists of lifelong Forest supporters who all share a common Punjabi heritage and die-hard love for The Reds, were shown around Emmanuel House so they could see how their donation would make a difference. It was a real pleasure for a CEO Denis Tully to meet the team.

Punjabi Forest’s aim is to support local charties. It has been a pleasure to raise funds through our Punjabi Forest 100 Club, which Russell Brown organises, from which £1500 was donated to Emmanuel House through the generosity of our membership. It was a truly humbling experience being shown around Emmanuel House by CEO Denis Tully, who provided insight into the great work they do in tackling homelessness in Nottingham.

Punjabi Forest’s generous donation will go towards the running of our support centre, which provides support to people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in Nottingham.

We’re so pleased to have met Punjabi Forest and we look forward to working in partnership to support some of Nottingham’s most vulnerable people.
