Supporting people who are at risk of homelessness in Nottingham

I often ask volunteers what it is they tell their friends they do when they volunteer at Emmanuel House.  They often say, ‘I help with the washing up’ or ‘I sort donations’.  These are incorrect answers.  The correct answer is, ‘I contribute to helping people out of homelessness’. This data demonstrates the great breadth of work that takes please through services provided by Emmanuel House but each piece of work is supported by the generosity of so many people in the community.  When someone donates their time, money or items they contribute to supporting people progress out of homelessness or prevent people becoming homeless in the first place.
