We’re delighted to share that ‘Francis House’, our medium-term accommodation project, re-opened on Monday.

Guests started moving in at midday on Monday, and they will have access to a shared kitchen, two beautiful green spaces, their own bedroom, toilets & showers (some are en-suite, some are shared with another guest), the dining room, and the cosy living room. Plus there are laundry facilities on-site.

This accommodation has 7 bedrooms, so that guests have their own space in addition to the common areas.
The service is medium-term supported accommodation, meaning that we help everyone who moves in here to find permanent accommodation. There is a support worker on-site during the daytime to help with any issues that may arise.

The building as a whole, but especially the green spaces, are wonderfully calming. We hope Francis House offers stability, shelter and comfort to the people moving in this week and beyond.
If you would like to support the work that we do, including our accommodation team, please consider setting up a regular donation to Emmanuel House. Regular donations give us stability as we can more accurately predict our future income. Of course, we understand that this isn’t possible for everyone, so simply talking to others about Emmanuel House has a massive impact on the amount of people we can reach.
