Supporting Emmanuel House as a company is easier than ever thanks to our new charity donation bins

Our new charity donation bins make it easier for local organisations to host donation drives

Emmanuel House is a Nottingham-based charity, supporting people who are homeless, or have recently been affected by homelessness. We rely on local organisations for donations of essential items and for fundraising.

Clothes and food donation bins for Emmanuel House

The new donation bins can be placed in an office or building reception to make it easier for employees to donate to us without having to come to the Support Centre. When hosting a collection for Emmanuel House, you can collect non-perishable food, or clothes (new and second hand), or both!

We use food donations to cook warm lunchtime meals for Emmanuel House service users every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. During the winter, we also provide three meals a day, seven days a week for guests staying in our Winter Shelter.

Donations of clothes will be sorted into two categories. The first is warm, durable and comfortable clothing suitable for people who are rough sleeping or affected by homelessness in another way. The second category is pre-loved garments which will be sold in our charity shop [link to charity shop page], with the money raised going back into our services.

These colourful donation bins will brighten up your office, whilst providing an easy way for staff to support a local charity. Emmanuel House will also provide posters with your company logo to attach to the side of the boxes and a thank you shoutout on social media.

If your business would like to host a donation drive for us using one of our donation bins, please email: Rosie.NeedhamSmith@emmanuelhouse.org.uk.
