We’re excited to open our doors and welcome people into Emmanuel House for Nottingham’s Light Night with ‘Choirs by Candlelight’, children’s activities, tea, cake and a tuck shop
On Friday 3rd February 6-9pm as part of Nottingham’s ‘Light Night’, we’ll be hosting an evening of singing and family-friendly activities in our candlelit support centre.
Come in from the cold for a hot drink and slice of cake and listen to performances by Nottingham choirs. More details about the choirs will be released soon.
Entry is free, with donations welcome. All money raised on the evening will go directly to our work supporting people who are homeless or in crisis.
We’ll also be hosting family-friendly activities for children, such as a tombola and crafts, and there will be plenty of glowsticks on offer.
Our charity shop will be open throughout the evening, which sells clothing and accessories.
Emmanuel House will also be open for donations of clothes and food, so members of the public can drop off unwanted food and second-hand clothes. Here’s a list of everything we need, if you’d like to come prepared. Everything will either be given out to people who are homeless, or will be sold in our charity shop to raise funds for the charity.
We’ll be welcoming people of all ages, including children, which offers a unique opportunity for young fundraisers to come to Emmanuel House and learn about what we do and how they can help support their local community.
