Emmanuel House is an independent charity and the effectiveness of services offered to vulnerable individuals is reliant on our ability to work creatively in partnership with other agencies.

Emmanuel House is the only open-access support service of its kind in the city. Its central location makes it a convenient setting for other agencies to meet with beneficiaries who do not have a settled accommodation. Emmanuel House has been present for 40 years and is recognised as a hub by people who are vulnerable and seeking support as well as the other agencies who support them.

The City Cares Homeless Health Team and Frameworks Street Outreach Team come into Emmanuel House regularly to engage with people who they would otherwise have difficulty to engage with.

In 2018 Emmanuel House facilitated 2000 individual meetings between our service users and other agencies.

We are proud to work with a number of agencies to help support our service users. These include:

“The time I have spent at Emmanuel House with your service users and staff has been a positive experience. The challenges of supporting this client group, most of whom have complex multiple issues, cannot be understated. Your staff, in my opinion, are a credit to the service you provide in Nottingham. They are both professional and friendly and show great empathy and compassion when dealing with clients.”
