Support workers at Emmanuel House with towards finding short and long term, stable housing for those in need. This includes working with external agencies and management of the Nottingham Winter Shelter to provide emergency housing.

This includes Polish-speaking specialist support workers with milt-lingual skills work with clients in these areas and co-ordinate with other specialists in the team to ensure a 360% service to each client.

polish statsWith these specific language skills, we can respond flexibly to newly presenting EU migrant workers, removing the language barrier and enabling them to work towards stability. From January 2014 up to Dec 2015 we have 76 new clients who have required in-depth work on a Pathway of Support and an additional 2o whose needs were met by brief interventions and signposting.
