Emmanuel House is an inclusive organisation, over the past 40 years we have worked with people who have a wide range of mental health and additional issues. These include but are not limited to offering support to those who have experienced domestic or sexual violence, substance misuse, alcohol dependency, relationship breakdowns or people who have come into contact with the criminal justice system.
Wellbeing Support Team
The Wellbeing Support Team is an outreach service that provides 1:1 support to adults in Nottingham who are homeless (or have recently been homeless) to help improve mental health and wellbeing. They provide 1:1 support in a suitable location to the service user, either at Emmanuel House or another preferable location. The team offers support in order to develop strategies to improve wellbeing and provides help in accessing support services and healthcare. They offer support with attending appointments and help tackle barriers associated with joining in with social activities and can continue to provide regular contact, even if accommodation changes.
We currently provide an outreach mental health service in South Notts and drop-ins are held at external agencies including the Friary, Framework’s Elizabeth House and Hope Café.
