We are passionate about providing workshops, training and activities for service users who come to Emmanuel House to support people to make positive changes out of homelessness. At Emmanuel House we try to have empathy and understanding for our services users whilst providing a programme that encourages social activities, the development of new skills and training as well as support for practical daily needs.
Our activities programme is funded by Emmanuel House and donations. It is not limited to social activities and also includes helping service users getting back into work, drug & alcohol support, debt & budgeting advice to name just a few.
Join Streetwise Opera’s singing and acting workshops at Emmanuel House to build confidence, meet people and most importantly, have fun! You’ll take part in music games, learn songs, transform yourself into different characters and find out more about opera. New people are welcome at any time and no experience is required – just come along and have a go!
